Maalox is a highly recognizable antacid brand (currently owned by Sanofi). It uses a combination of Aluminum and Magnesium hydroxides to neutralize stomach acid, providing relief from heartburn and indigestion.
Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, or if you have kidney problems. Do not take with certain medications (check for interactions).
Adults and Children over 12 years: Take 1 to 2 sachets after meals and at bedtime, or as needed. Knead the sachet thoroughly before opening and swallowing the oral suspension.
