Returns Policy
Chemist Warehouse UAE Returns Policy
Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under UAE consumer protection requirements, as we want you to be satisfied with your purchase.
This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work for orders placed with Chemist Warehouse UAE.
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts your rights under UAE Federal Consumer Protection Law.
Change of Mind Returns
If you have changed your mind about your purchase, we are happy to offer you an exchange or refund provided that:
- The items are returned within 7 days of delivery
- You can show your original receipt, online tax invoice or other adequate proof of purchase at the time you return the items
- The items have not been used or damaged in any way including that:
- They are in their original packaging including manuals, pamphlets and all accessories; and/or
- They are unopened, unused and in their original saleable condition
- The items are not in the list of categories ineligible for a change of mind return (see below).
- If a gift with purchase was provided as part of any sale, all gifts must also be returned in their original condition in order for the change of mind return to be accepted.
- Items purchased under “Buy X Get Y Free” or any bundle promotion must be returned in full to qualify for a complete refund; if only part of the bundle is returned, the refund will be adjusted based on the standard individual item prices.
Products That Cannot Be Returned (Change of Mind)
Unfortunately, due to their nature and use, items in the following categories are not eligible for change of mind returns:
- Medicines (Prescribed or Over the Counter)
- Baby Formula
- Fragrances
- Cosmetics
- Vitamin Supplements
- Consumable Products (e.g. food and drinks)
Where an item is eligible for a refund, we will refund the price of the item to your original payment method. Shipping costs for the order and return will not be refunded.
Any items returned that don’t comply with our change of mind returns policy are unable to be refunded.
Other Returns
We will accept returns and provide you with a refund, exchange or repair where the product is:
- Faulty or is not of acceptable quality
- Significantly different from those shown or described to you
- Not fit for its intended purpose
- Unsafe
Where an item is eligible for a refund of this kind, we will refund the price of the item as well as any associated shipping costs to your original payment method.
Faulty, Damaged Or Incorrect Products
If a product is faulty, damaged in transit, defective, expired, or significantly not as described, we will provide a remedy in accordance with UAE Consumer Protection Law. We may request that the item be returned for inspection before processing a refund or replacement.
You may be entitled to:
- A replacement
- A repair (where applicable)
- A refund to your original payment method

How To Return/Exchange An Item
To initiate a return/exchange:

Provide your order number and reason for return.
Follow the return instructions provided.
Online orders must be returned in accordance with the instructions given by Customer Service.
In-store purchases must be returned to the original store of purchase unless otherwise advised.
Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
Refund Processing
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be processed:
- To the original payment method used at purchase.
- Within 5–7 business days of approval.
- Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process the transaction.
- Delivery charges are refundable only where the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
International Orders
You will not be entitled to a refund for the cost of the item or postage and handling if you do not receive your order due to one of the following:
- Your order is not collected
- Your order is rejected at the border
- Your order is returned to sender
- Fees or duties are not paid by you
Certain items may be restricted in your country and may be withheld at the border. We are unable to remain across these import requirements for your country, and it is your responsibility to ensure that what you order will be able to clear customs.
