Step 1: Hygiene is Key Wash your hands thoroughly. Sterilize all feeding utensils (bottle, teat, cap, scoop) according to the manufacturer's instructions. Step 2: Prepare the Water Boil fresh, safe drinking water. Do not use water that has been boiled repeatedly. Let the boiled water cool down in the kettle for about 30 minutes to approximately 40°C. Using water that is too hot can destroy important nutrients. Measure the required amount of water into the sterilized bottle. Step 3: Measure the Powder Use only the scoop provided in the can. Level off the powder with the built-in leveler. Do not press or heap the powder into the scoop. Add the correct number of scoops to the water, as indicated on the feeding guide on the can. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful to your baby. Step 4: Mix the Formula Cap the bottle and shake it immediately, vigorously and vertically for about 10 seconds, until the powder is completely dissolved. Rolling the bottle or shaking in circles may not be sufficient. Step 5: Check the Temperature Before feeding, check the temperature of the formula by dropping a few drops on your wrist. It should feel lukewarm, approximately 37°C. Step 6: Feeding and Storage Feed the formula to your baby immediately. Use the prepared feed within one hour. Always discard any unfinished feed. Do not reheat in a microwave, as it can create dangerous hot spots. Store the dry powder in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator). Use the powder within four weeks of opening the can.
